About the Ski Club

The Ski Club of Ireland is based in Kilternan, Co. Dublin, where it operates the National Snowsports Centre for Ireland. The Club is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion and development of skiing and snowboarding through the provision of classes and training facilities for all standards of skier or snowboarder, from complete beginner to expert. It is run by the voluntary support of about 400 enthusiastic members.

People from all over Ireland come to Kilternan every year to learn or develop their skiing or snowboarding skills and enjoy the many activities at the Club throughout the season.

Over the years more than 100,000 people have been introduced to winter sports at Kilternan.   Participants include families, children, students, youth groups, corporates, Ireland’s International Racers and the Special Olympics Ski Team.

The Club runs many events through the season and organises a small number of sociable ski holidays abroad namely Courchevel in January and a different Austrian resort each February.
