Half Day Course
The Half Day Learn to Snowboarding course is a particularly convenient way to learn to board if you are embarking on your first snow holiday abroad or if you live a long distance from the Ski Club. Once successfully completed you will be able to use a lift, control speed and direction and stop confidently.
Courses start at 10.00 am on Saturdays and run until approx. 1.30pm with a short break. Tea and coffee will be provided; participants should arrive at 9.30 am to get kitted out.
Please note that due to the physical nature of snowboarding the minimum age for snowboarding is 13 years old, for the Half Day Learn to Snowboard course.
Snowboards & boots are provided at no extra cost though you are very welcome to bring your own. You will need to wear warm flexible clothing, gloves and waterproofs are recommended.
Our next Half Day Learn to Snowboard lessons has not yet been scheduled.
Note: Everybody using the slopes must have completed an Indemnity Form. The Ski Club's Indemnity form can be downloaded here. All those under 18 must have a parent sign their registration form at their first lesson or practice.
