MEMBER ANNUAL CLUB MAINTENANCE DAY 27TH AUGUST.
ANNUAL PRE-SEASON MAINTENANCE DAY
*This SUNDAY 27 AUGUST
Members!
The summer is flying by! We hope everyone has been enjoying the summer (despite the iffy weather).
As September is almost upon us, it’s time to get excited about returning to Kilternan’s slopes in the coming weeks -but as a voluntary organisation, we need your help.
As has been the tradition in years gone by, we would be delighted if as many members as possible could join us at the “working BBQ” to help with the few odd jobs that need doing before our new season starts. Don’t worry though, no skills needed, just plenty of enthusiasm and a willing pair of hands!
When: Sunday August 27th
Time: 11:30 to 4:30 (or whatever you can spare)
Last year over 50 members of all ages, young & old, turned up and we got a HUGE amount of work done - mainly grass cutting, hedge clipping, fence painting, ski & boot cleaning, slope clearing etc.
Tara Murphy has bravely agreed to take over the BBQ duties from supremo John Ryan so there will be plenty of food & drink laid on for all the volunteers at the end of the session. It’s always a great opportunity to have a chat with all our ski buddies and catch up on what everyone has been up to over the summer.
Please RSVP TO INFO@SKICLUB.IE and let us know if you’re coming so Tara knows how many burgers to ‘flip’!
We look forward to seeing as many members as possible on Sunday - many hands make light work!
Thanks in advance for your help,
SCI Committee & our brilliant Maintenance Team heroes
