Practice Sessions

Practice is available at the Ski Club for those who can already ski or snowboard. This means people who have completed the course of four beginner classes at the Ski Club or have had at least 1 week on snow. Practice skiers or snowboarders must be able to control their speed, direction, turn, stop and use the ski lift.

Children under the age of 8 can only do a practice if they have used the button lift during Kindergarten lessons at Ski Club of Ireland.

It is a great way to get fit for your next ski or snowboarding holiday and get some tips from our instructors who are always happy to share their knowledge and experience.

A practice session is for up to 3 hours any evening from 19.30 to 22.30 or at the weekends from 10.30 to 17.30.

Snowboarders* can also practice on Sunday evenings-18.00 to 20.30.

You might wish to practice on a regular basis during the season, then you should consider looking at our membership and season ticket options and even get involved in club activities.

All equipment is included in the price however you are welcome to use your own skis, boots and snowboards.
