The Ski Club is in existence for 60 years and is 50 years at its base in Kilternan, D18 N704. Over that time its ski slopes have been developed to become a national amenity for winter sports. The facilities at Kilternan are now recognised as one of the finest artificial skiing centres in Europe. Significant grants from Sports Ireland have helped us achieve this level of technical excellence.
About the Ski Club of Ireland, Kilternan
The Club is a not-for-profit sports club run by enthusiastic volunteers, including over 120 qualified instructors, all dedicated to bringing the joys of winter sports to the Irish public. The Ski Club teaches skiing and snowboarding to over 8,000 people of all ages each year, catering for children, including TY classes, families, adults, skiers with disabilities, young racers, many of whom compete internationally, and experienced skiers who ski abroad every winter.
We train Ireland’s Special Olympic teams, and Ireland’s competitors in the European and World Cup racing circuit.
