Ski Club of Ireland members will be joining thousands of people across Ireland and the world for sunrise on Saturday May 7th to support people affected by suicide and self-harm. 

Rather than the usual charity run or walk, we are planning a sunrise ski! Start time is at 04.15am on the slopes at Kilternan - followed by breakfast rolls and tea/coffee on the deck. Hopefully as we gather at the top of the main slope, we will be able to watch the sun rise over Killiney Hill & Ballycorus.

The cost includes breakfast roll + coffee which will be provided by our lovely club volunteers - please contact us if you'd like to don an apron and flip some sausages on the BBQ!!  We also have a small selection of DIL T-shirts in various sizes that will be given out on a first come first served basis at the event.

The last two years have been so difficult for everyone and they have been especially difficult for those affected by suicide and self-harm. More people than ever are relying on the self-saving services that Pieta provides free of charge, to those in suicidal distress, those who are self-harming and those who have been bereaved by suicide.

You can help keep these essential services available to those who need them most by helping us reach our club fundraising goal. The gift you donate today could mean that one more call can be answered to someone in suicidal distress, one more person can get the help they need, when they need it, and one more family can be spared from the devastating heartbreak of suicide.
