Covid-19 update

As the summer rolls on, we want to thank everyone for supporting the Ski Club this year. It's always a great pleasure for us to see everyone learn new skills and enjoy themselves.

Right now we are very busy preparing for the new season, with a view to opening the week commencing 21st September if the government's Roadmap permits, obviously with safe-distancing and the need to minimise the risk of infection for guests and club volunteers alike.

Our planning for reopening is led by a small group of professionals from the fields of Medicine, Workplace Health and Safety, Project Management, Risk Management and Facilities Maintenance.  They are thoroughly assessing the relevant risks, and devising appropriate control measures. The Club will fully observe all government/HSE requirements, as well the advice of the Return To Sport Expert Group and the Department of Education. 

On the plus side, skiing is enjoyed in the open air and is not a contact sport.  So we very much hope you will continue to include us in your plans for the coming year, we look forward to enjoying skiing and make sure you check in with us in September, as we have lots of ski and snowboard courses planned and hopefully some exciting events and talks relevant to our love of snow!
