Alpine Fest – sponsored by Salzburgerland Austria and Great Outdoors
Your Diary Date for Alpine Fest 2022: 8th and 9th October 2022 at the Ski Club of Ireland Kilternan
A Real Taste of Austria to Whet Your Appetite for Ski Holidays 2022/23 - come on – get your ski legs back! Or have a go for the first time!
We had a great ski season at the Ski Club of Ireland Kilternan last season, with over 15,000 lessons delivered. And we’d love to see you all back with us this season! We are open again now for the season, after tremendous work by all our volunteers and we’d love to see you at our Alpine Fest, supported by all our partners, including Salzburgerland Ski Region Austria, Great Outdoors, and DLR Tourism.
The event has been made possible thanks to sponsorship from DLR Tourism, with the Salzburgerland ski region Austria, and resorts Zell am See-Kaprun, and Saalbach, as well as our long-time partners Great Outdoors, supporting the Ski Club of Ireland and our other ongoing sponsors and partners as listed such as Topflight, Crystal Ski and Mountain People.
Austria has been voted Best Winter Ski Destination from Ireland for years, and within the ski market, while other countries are popular, such as France, Switzerland, Italy and Andorra, Austria remains No.1 on the Irish market.
As part of this Alpine Fest, The Ski Club of Ireland will be celebrating the hard work and skill sets of their own amazing volunteer ski instructors – 100 of them - while also welcoming these special guest instructors and ski experts from Salzburgerland including Zell am See-Kaprun, Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Flachau.
