Practice is available at the Ski Club for competent skiers and snowboarders. To be able to practice skiing, an individual must have completed the course of four beginner lessons at the Ski Club or done at least 1 week skiing on snow. Practice skiers must be capable of skiing and stopping in a controlled manner.
Practice is available at the following times (15th Sept 2010 - 31st March 2011) -
Mon - Fri 19.30 - 22.30
Saturday 10.30 - 17.30
Sunday 10.30 - 17.30
Please note practice will not be available on 2nd & 3rd October 2010 due to racing.
Practice sessions are currently €25 for an adult and €18 for those under age 18. Prices include the use of skis/snowboard, boots and poles.

Snowboarders are given a Rider’s Pass when they have been deemed competent enough to practice on their own (usually after the completion of the course of four beginner’s lessons). If snowboarders have their own boots and board and a Rider’s pass they are permitted to practice during any practice time and are not restricted to just snowboard practice times. If a snowboarder has boarded on snow but have never been to Kilternan they must be assessed in order to receive a Rider’s Pass.
